The Body
Zoë recently music directed a production of The Body, an innovative and exploratory new musical by Zoe Gray adapted from the Stephen King novella of the same name. This production embraced queer experiences and perceptions of masculinity, exploring these topics through the lens of four young boys on a search for a dead body. Alice by Heart
In May of 2024, Zoë made their Off-Broadway debut as an assistant music director for Tisch New Theatre's production of Alice by Heart. They led numerous vocal and instrumental rehearsals that culminated in performances at Theatre for the New City.
this old haunt
In January of 2024, Zoë made their debut as a music director for a 29-hour reading of this old haunt, a new musical created by Maggie Kane, Rebecca Wahls, and SMJ with additional music and orchestrations by Dillon Feldman. As a queer person, they relished the opportunity to help develop and explore new work that amplifies queer voices. Photo credits to Jess Eichen.
No Guts, No Glory
In 2023, Zoë was an assistant music director for No Guts, No Glory, a theatrical concert experience celebrating the genre of campy horror. They arranged and orchestrated for the production, and led numerous vocal and instrumental rehearsals that culminated in performances at The Garage, a Brooklyn concert venue.
